Jim went to the Jesuit infirmary in Pickering today. Great news that he was well enough to leave the hospital today. I don’t think it came a day too soon for him. Jim’s Mom and sister drove him over this morning. Him white blood cell count is coming back up well. White blood cells regenerate quickly. Red blood cells take much longer, and Jim’s are very low. That’s part of the recovery process. Can you imagine: it was the first time Jim set foot outdoors in almost three weeks.

I haven’t spoken with Jim today, but will do so in the next day or two and will write again.
